How to Prepare Your Quilt for Quilting
- Press your quilt top and backing and and trim any loose threads
- Square your quilt top and backing
- If you want your quilt laid out in a particular way, label the top of the quilt top and backing with a note and a safety pin
- Make sure your quilt backing and batting are 8 inches wider and longer than your quilt top
